hometown living at its best

Do you know your neighbors?

At Toombs County Magazine we ask ourselves that all the time. Just because our community is small doesn’t mean we take the time to get to know each other. By producing a magazine about the people and the events in our community, we hope to reconnect people, start dinner conversations, and create a sense of pride in our area. Our writers tell us that “everyone has a story.” So, it is our goal to find those incredible, heartwarming stories about the amazing people in our area and share them with the community.

The production of TCM is sponsored by local advertisers, making it a great resource for discovering what is available in our community. The articles are written by locals about locals, the editorial content is provided by locals, the photos are from local photographers. What does this mean? It means we believe that Toombs County is a great place to do business and a great place to thrive.

TCM is distributed on a semi-annual basis free of charge to local businesses and residents. It’s popularity as the community’s hometown magazine continues to grow. Readers have told us that they never throw an issue away because the stories represent such a cross section of life in Toombs County.

The positive response we get from local readers, the excitement we see over a new issue arriving and the way telling someone’s story changes lives are the real reason we produce TCM. We are grateful to all our advertisers for making this community project successful!
